Not long after the invasion of the "underworld" below the surface of the World, the perfect beauty the Universe created was ripped in half: trees rotted at the broken crust where the Prison rose from underneath; the cities and metropolis' within a few hundred miles of the gigantic crack, lay in ruins; the sky above it filled with black clouds and very little sun.
The creatures from it's core bred, polluting the land in a way that looked like the Planet was a gigantic leaf feeding a hundred little caterpillars. The beautiful world became known as "Mondo Lacerato", the Broken World.
Now, almost three hundred years have passed, and a new problem has risen: The Mercenaries have tore through cities, waged war, and even declared themselves Gods. Pirates compete in a race with the Mercenaries to find the Ancient Relics of Old Time Past to gain the "Ultimate Power". The Forest that covered the entire Planet now covers a wavering 65% of it, and it seems to be loosing the war with the Prison. Famine, War, even Disease fills the dying world.
It's time to decide: be the one fighting against the Prison; be the one fighting against the Forest; or be the one who tries to just survive.
Whichever you chose, the time is ticking, and everyone is dying.
