Name:
Neve Luna, or Snow Moon
Age:
Looks around her early 20s.
Gender:
Female
Race:
Vai'aja - Warrior of the Forest
Appearance:
Neve, with hair as white as snow, is the elegant height of 5'9", and has a body as flexible as a Willow's limbs, and as lean as a Doe. Her eyes have the brilliance of a wild Tiger Lily - speckled with golden flecks that twinkle like stars - and skin so fair she would look porcelain against fresh snow. No matter what she wears, Neve always wears a golden band around her head, in the center, an Emerald stone, to cover a branding that she is ashamed of.
Animal Appearance
Snow Leopard
Personality:
Unlike most other Vai'aja, Neve isn't afraid to go beyond the forest, although she loves being in the setting she was born and raised in. Her acute, feline instincts tend to get her into a bit of trouble but she always takes the challenges with a light-hearted play that gets her opponents boiling - and she loves the fiery of the fight. Although curious, she is shy around other people - a little unsure of how to interact with them - but enjoys getting to know others, or just people watch. But even with her innocence and calm exterior, Neve has a determination and hate behind the depths of her eyes.
Weapons:
Opal Long Bow: A elegant long bow dressed in blue opal stones, giving it an enhanced Water Magic damage. The Golden feathers at the ends of her arrows activate mid-flight to speed up the attack.
Pearl Dagger: A curved, diamond edged blade deals the attack to a target with deadly accuracy. The pearl encrusted handle enables the edge of the blade to stay sharp.
Elements:
Earth, Water
Earth
"Earth is a delicate element to manipulate: one wrong shift could cause the planet to disrupt the balance along it's entire surface."
Terra Rotto: Terra Rotto, literally meaning "Broken Earth," is a structure manipulation ability pertaining to dirt/soil, rock, even molten lava. When she uses Terra Rotto, it could be as little as turning a grain of sand into dust to creating a crater deep into the Planet's surface.
Water
"Water is fierce and stubborn: only the strong and patent can master it."
Fluido Lingua: Fluido Lingua, literally meaning "Fluid Language," is word effected substance manipulation. Water, being over 60% of the water in most being's body, allows Neve to control the water in the air, in the ground, the trees, even in the body of the wounded. With simple words, she can do this task, also allowing herself to combine water and her energy to heal wounds, internally and externally.
Powers:
"Mi Obbligano": With this simple phrase, Neve exchanges her soul into another being, or allowing herself to be Aerial outside of her body - mostly for battle purposes, but it is an effective way of escape. Although extremely handy, it is also equally dangerous - if her body is killed, or if she doesn't return to her body within five (5) hours, she will be lost in "Limbo" or stuck in the person's/animal's body forever.
"Vita di Ccarico": "Life Drain" digs deep into the Planet's energy source and turns Neve's veins into vine-like roots, causing them to sprout from her flesh and extended into another person's body to drain their power, even life, from them. Engaging into this act can cause severe harm to Neve if her connection to the Planet is suddenly interrupted without her power leveling. But although there is the risk, Neve has nearly mastered this attack. She calls it, "Mercy," being that it's quick, and painless.
Element Manipulation: As stated in the Element description, Neve can manipulate Earth and Water at will with little to no effect to her well-being.
History:
Born from the Tree of Life, Neve never had any parents, nor did she grow up with other Vai'aja. Upon birth, she was born at the delicate age of 6 - her hair was as bright as the winter moon she sat under, and her skin was as pale and soft as the snow. When she opened her eyes, the tiger lily color glistened with the sight of a large snow leopard standing before her, waiting patiently, almost as if it has been waiting for the young Vai'aja. Then he spoke, scaring her a littler, "My name is Dy'tre. I am your family, your mentor, your Familiar. I will protect you and teach you. Stand up." The deep, raspiness of the animal's voice was soft in her head, but she obeyed without question. Her frail legs wobbled and she stumbled forward, but the large feline braced her and taught her how to walk. Soon to follow, she learned to open her mouth to speak; she learned to run and jump as swiftly as he; and she learned to hunt and kill.
Then, upon her "Day of Woman," Dy'tre explained that she must choose her alternate form, explaining it must be strong, swift, agile, and able to protect her from danger. He also mentioned it had to be only one choice and it had to be something she was sure about. Without hesitation, at one minute after her "Day of Woman," she touched the wet nose of her companion and she changed into the perfect image of him. Flattered, and in love with his young Vai'aja, Dy'tre watched as she learned to control her new form, and vowed to never let any harm come to her.
As she grew, and as the decades passed, Neve grew stronger and learned to control the elements she learned she had, as well as other abilities she stumbled upon.
Although she sat in her forest, usually safe from harm, the news of the terrible conditions surrounding her home reached her everyday by news, whispers in the trees, raids and pillages, deaths, screams, thieves, and new and terrifying creatures entering the edges of her forest. But one day, Neve met another Vai'aja, he was taller than she, hair black as the space between the stars and eyes as bright as the sun. She fell in love with the boy, her heart never feeling as light and her stomach never feeling as giggly as it did when he was with her. For almost a decade, she and her lover were happy, until they got too close to the edge of the forest and her curiosity led her astray and into the nearest town. Without Dy'tre or her lover's watchful companion around to protect her, Neve was harmed and beaten by half-men. Knowing what she was, she was branded with the sign of the Prison - a Clock Gear - on her forehead and thrown back into the forest to die.
When she was found, her lover was furious and left to seek her vengeance. leaving his Moon Staff at her side. When she awoke, she never saw her lover again, neither did she ever see his companion again. Ashamed and heart-broken, she dug the stone from the top of his staff and went to the Tree of Life to get an Ancient to forge her a golden headband with the Emerald from his staff on it. With a promise to her lover, she placed the headband over her brand and then left the forest to seek vengeance against the filthy people to came from the Prison.
